When should I link objects?
You should link objects if you need other data to describe something.
For example, to properly describe a fund you will need to link it to other objects. These include the strategy under which it sits, the contact(s) who manage it and its performance. However, it’s important to link objects as directly as possible. For example, if a contact is associated with a single strategy, you should connect these two objects rather than linking the contact to the firm they work for. AssetLogic will guide you by suggesting the most likely links from the object you are describing.
